MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY BTEC  

SKILLS REQUIRED

Must have a keen interest on motor vehicle maintenance and repair.  Should have an interest in practical working environments.

COURSE CONTENT

Learn the basics of repairing and maintaining cars.  You will learn basic motor vehicle skills needed to go onto further education. 

WHAT QUALIFICATION WILL I GET?

• BTEC Level 2 Extended Certificate in Vehicle Technology, equivalent to 2 GCSEs (A*-C).

WHAT CAN I DO AFTERWARDS?

• Progress to College to study more advanced qualifications
• Apprenticeships within the Motor Vehicle Industry
• Work in garage

ATTENDANCE

1 day per week, over 2 years

This course runs in conjunction with the BTEC Level 2 in Engineering.
