Our Year 7 pupils will be taking part in Restart a Heart Day on the 16th October 2019. This is a regional event delivered by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation. This is an excellent opportunity for these pupils to learn basic CPR lifesaving skills and we are very pleased to be able to offer this to our year 7 pupils for the first time this year.
Additionally, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, we ask that year 7 pupils wear something red to school on the 16th October, for example a t-shirt or jumper. They must however, still wear their school trousers, blazer and school shoes. We ask that these pupils who do wear something red, make a small donation of 50p which will then be donated to the charity.
