Restart A Heart Day

Monday saw the fourth successful running of ‘Restart a Heart’ at Oakwood.  Run in conjunction with volunteers from South Yorkshire Ambulance and two A & E nurses from Rotherham Hospital, 200 Year 7’s learnt successfully how to perform CPR.  They were attentive, enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills. Some of them looked like they would become the paramedics, nurses and doctors of the future.

Thanks to all the staff who supported the event and also had a go at practicing this life saving skill.
