July Update

A level taster event at Thomas Rotherham College

On Wednesday 4th July Year 11 pupils were given the opportunity to attend this event at TRC which helped them to find out more about the subjects they may be interested in studying at college after Y11.

67 pupils attended the event and had the chance to try out 3 taster subjects throughout the day. They were able to choose from over 25 different subjects including Film, Maths, Biology, Law and Psychology.

The day also included a tour of the college and information sessions on careers, academic support available and the entrance criteria and grades needed to apply. The pupils gained a lot of information which will help them to make more informed decisions about their future career and course choices.
