This application form has been designed to be used for all posts in the school workforce.  You can complete the form and submit it electronically, please click on the space to answer each question and spaces to enter your text will appear.  Alternatively, you can print the form to complete and post to us.  Please note that we only accept the applications completed on our Application form (available on our website).

COMPLETING THE APPLICATION FORM

Our application form is designed to collect the information we need in the format we need it to ensure we recruit safely.  It is essential that you complete all parts of the application form and that you do not use ‘see attachment’.  Please be advised that any attachments will be removed from the application form and will not be considered at shortlisting.

Please show clearly how your experience, knowledge, skills and abilities are relevant to the requirements of the post as detailed in the job description and person specification.

Give full details of your duties in your present post or most recent job if you have been employed before. Do not miss out experience gained in previous jobs, but select the most relevant points, including details of any skills and experience gained from voluntary/community work.

Do not leave any gaps in your employment and educational history and ensure that the dates and information provided are accurate.

REFERENCES

Are a key part of our process; candidates are responsible for ensuring a referee is both available and willing to provide a reference prior to the date advertised for interviews.

Candidates must provide referees that meet the criteria stated on the application form; your current or most recent employer, the Headteacher of the school you are currently at or were most recently employed; that your referees are not related to you.  Ensure that you provide email addresses for all referees and ensure that you have asked your referee to provide a reference and that they will be available to provide a reference prior to the stated date of interview (in the advert).   The Trust reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment should referees not provide a reference prior to interview.

You can expand any section within the application form (ensure that you do this prior to printing if you intend to submit a handwritten application), so it should not be necessary to attach additional sheets.  If for whatever, reason you do need to attach additional sheets please mark them clearly as continuations and not as CV attachments; lists of qualifications, training, employment etc. as these will be detached (the form is designed to capture this information in the format that we need it).

Ensure that you submit the application before the closing date and allow time for your application to reach us.  The Trust retains to right to refuse to consider an application after the closing date.

INVITATION FOR INTERVIEW

If you are invited for interview and require any arrangements or assistance e.g. access to the building, please specify on an additional sheet

If you have any enquiry or complaint about the recruitment process, please contact the particular school dealing with you application

Please remember to bring to the interview original copies of all qualifications, photo identification and proof of address

If you have changed your name since you gained any qualifications, please bring marriage or other certificate to confirm your identity
