Active Travel Ambassadors

February 4, 2025

On Wednesday, the Active Travel Ambassadors visited the year 6s at Sitwell (travelling there and back on foot in true ATA style!). They delivered a presentation and quiz on the benefits of active travel, teaching them some important concepts around sustainability and encouraging them to think more carefully about how they will travel to their chosen secondary school, in a way that is healthier for them and the planet. We hope that those of them who come to Oakwood will choose to walk, cycle or sustainably travel when they start year 7, just like the Active Travel Ambassadors!
