Happy Half Term Break

Thank you for your endeavours this last half term.

As we know, it’s always difficult returning after the Christmas break and having to face dark mornings and evenings, winter weather and those bugs and viruses which tend to be rampant at this time of year.

This year, probably as a consequence of the last couple of years of more restricted opportunities to mingle, we have seen significantly more staff, children and young people affected by those winter bugs and viruses. Despite all this, we know that we cannot close on a whim, the work continues whether we have a full staff body, a full pupil / student body or not.

For many of us it is the half term holiday now. I hope you have a great break – if you can. And that we will all come back stronger, well rested, when we return, in a week or so.
