The best way to support your child is to remind them to complete their home learning tasks, and, if possible, provide a quiet space for your child to focus on these tasks.

You will receive weekly emails from Sparx, you can use these to  track the home learning progress of your child for any Sparx learning your child is using.

Sparx is designed to adapt to each student’s ability so it is important that your child attempts all questions themselves. If they are struggling, Sparx will either provide a video, simplify the question or give them a simpler text to support them. If they are completing the tasks really quickly, Sparx will introduce additional tasks designed to stretch the child’s knowledge.

You can also support your child by providing a suitable working space, away from distractions, and encourage regular home learning time. It it beneficial to show an interest in your child’s learning, and always reach out to the teacher for any support

Please regularly check your Child’s assignment details on Arbor. This will give information for you to talk to your child about their weekly home learning schedule, and support them in mapping out their time, to ensure they can easily balance home learning with social and family time.

Homework club in school runs in ARC on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
