South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue visit

Today we celebrated International Women and Girls in Science by visiting The South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service Training & Development Centre in Handsworth. Mrs Barton, Miss Fox & 12 of our female pupils were lucky enough to be invited to this event to gain an insight into the range of exciting careers within The Fire Service as well as hands-on activities related to the science behind firefighting. Pupils also had the opportunity to meet staff and take a tour of the training centre.

Fleur Holland and team looked after everyone and made staff and pupils  feel very welcome.
